In the dead of the night music doesn't wrap around you.
When all your lights are off and you can't see anything in front of you.
That's when you absorb the music, when you've lost your ability to do anything else but lose yourself in the music.
In the day music can be amazing, it can wrap itself around you adjusting to your mood applying to your day-to-day needs
But in the night you only feel what the song feels.
A story plays in your head.
You noticing things you never noticed before.
I'm not sure if I went to sleep last night.
When lying in the dark wrestling with your thoughts and giving into the music it's hard to know if I ever slipped into the unconscious.
I'm tired.
I'm tired of doing this to myself.
I'm working on it, but I'm failing miserably.
I'm tired.
