Just returned from a wonderful week at two beaches, the first half of which spent in Myrtle beach, the second spent in Panama City. My family is a water family. I don't know if it has anything to do that my parents both grew up on islands or anything... At least twice a year we visit Panama City to swim, tour, and fish. However this year the pier we usually fish upon is being remodeled (as in they tore it down and it no longer exists at the moment, but are in the process of rebuilding) so we spent a lot of our trip looking for a new place to fish, no such luck.. we did find a place to net tons of crabs though! The ocean was absoloutely beautiful, and you won't find sand softer than Panama City's. The ocean this year was full of seaweed, small little fish, jellyfish, and crabs ... so as tough as I am I spent a little less time fighting mother nature in the ocean, and a little more time observing it from the shore and taking it all in. It's a peaceful beautiful place the ocean. I love it. I want to return as soon as possible. Which hopefully will be soon thanks to a trip to a beach near the beautiful Charleston sometime soon with friends :)

I'm SO excited about West Quad this year, I still miss the fifth floor of Capstone and wish I was still there all the time, but none of that's gonna bring me down. It's a new year, with semi-new roomies and we've all got some experience on our belt now! On our way back from Panama City we stopped by Ikea (ohh, how I love Ikea) in ATL and purchased this crazy awesome rug among other things. This rug pretty much inspired my room theme for next year... urban and loud. I was on the hunt for some awesome grafitti posters last year and was never lucky, but I have got to find them this year! I can't wait to get my hands on this room, it's all mine!! I'm not excited about how small it's going to be.. but the rest of it. Hell Yeah bring on FALL 08! I'm so excited about what's in store, while this summer has been relaxing, and I can't believe June's almost wrapped up [where the hell did it go?] and I'm kind of dreading the fact that I now only have a month and a half before school starts up again, I'm still way way way excited to get the fall going. New people to meet, new parties, new friends, a whole new experience. I mean I LOVED last year, but who wants the same thing over again? You've had it, you're thankful for it, now get ready for the next best thing!
Talking about this fall, I may be changing my major to Business or Retail Management? *sigh* I'd be in school forever taking dreadfully boring classes and hating my life... My mom today, after I explained some of my plans for the future said to me: "I just don't know what you want to do with your life, why can't you be something with a title?" I replied "I'm an INNOVATOR! and a planner!" And then she told me I was crazy.
I think I may be.
